AROMA
It is desirable to have an absence of aroma. Take off points for the detection of chlorine, mustiness or other chemical scents.

COLOR/CLARITY
Water should be clear. Decrease points for cloudiness, murkiness or floating items.

TASTE
There should be a clean and crisp taste. Subtract points for chalky, chemical, foreign or unsavory tastes on your palate.

AFTERTASTE
Search for clear taste at back of tongue. Decrease score for bitter, acrid and off-taste after swallowing water.

OVERALL IMPRESSION
Consider the four categories above and detract points for any negative impressions formed.
